1. Rotary cutter
2. Craft or Stanley knife
3. Stitching hole puncher
4. Hole plier or hole puncher
5. Round point needle for heavy duty
6. Nylon thread for leather
7. Rubber pounding board (plastic or wooden board is also possible)
9. (Wooden) mallet
10. Double sided tape
12. Cutting mat
13. Brayer (additional)
14. Pricking iron (additional)
Start this project with looking for a suitable leather. Basicly you can use any leather. It depends on your wish and style. I have chosen for a unisex style this time.
The last part is leather part number 7 with the dimensions 200,00 x 25,00 mm.
The pictures of those two straps will follow.
The holes should be 60,00 mm from the left edge and the first hole should be 10,00 mm from below edge.
The position between the upper and below hole should be 25,00 mm from each other.
After you have made the stitching holes, you do not need the help-strap anymore, so you can put it aside.
Leather number 5 will remind uncut. Please find below picture.
Put off the fire before it reachs the last knot of the stitching and press down the melted thread against the leather by using the top of the lighter.
